The Soundworlds of Steve Roach

This is my first time working with fluid paints and inks. With this process I have to work fast to capture the movement of the paint as it flows, repels, attracts and combines.

Instead of trying to control the process, I needed to step back to allow the organic forms create and inspire the compositions.

The results are then combined together with hundreds other painted and animated elements as layers in the computer to create the finished work.

An introspective journey that took over 4 years to complete.
